The Blogger Followers Gadget Is Available - Really!

Some blog owners can't figure out how to add the Blogger Followers gadget, to their blogs.

We see occasional confusion, in Blogger Help Forum: Get Help with an Issue, about installation and use of Followers.
After typing
https://www.google.com/friendconnect/
into my browser, I am redirected to
Blogger Help: Manage blogs you follow
How do I install Followers?

The Blogger Help article is about using Following - once it's been installed.

This blog owner wants to use Blogger Followers - but is not finding the expected selection, in "Add a Gadget". The confusion is not hard to understand, given the relative visibility of Blogger Followers vs Google+ Followers.

The two gadgets are in separate sections of "Add a Gadget".

The "Google+ Followers" gadget is in the Basics list, while the "Followers" gadget is at the bottom of the "More Gadgets" list.

Look in the main, "By Blogger" list, for Google+ Followers.

Look near the bottom of "Basics'.

And there, we see "Google+ Followers".

"Highlight your total Google+ audience (both its size and some friendly faces), and offer visitors the chance to follow you on Google+."

Look in the secondary, by third party providers list, for Blogger Followers.

Look at the very bottom of "More Gadgets".

And there, we see "Followers".

"Displays a list of users who follow your blog."

Hopefully, with the Followers gadget being redesigned, this inequality will be reduced. Until it is, just understand how to find each gadget.

Thank you for this post - but I'm just a little confused.
I tried adding the new one - but it looks just like the old one already on my blog.
So should I install the new and delete the old?

Stats Components Are Significant, In Their Own Context

One popular Stats related accessory, which displays pageview information to the public, is the "Popular Posts" gadget.

Popular Posts identifies from 1 to 10 of the most popular posts in the blog, by comparing Stats pageview counts. Optional parts of the display of each post are a snippet of text, and an ever popular thumbnail photo.

Like many Stats features, blog owners have found imaginative uses for "Popular Posts" - and overlook the limitations of the gadget. Both the dynamic nature of Stats, and the timing of the various pageview count recalculations, create confusion, when Popular Posts is examined.

Free Domain Registration By "UNONIC" Is Fraudulent

Blogger blog owners, like everybody else, like to save money.

Some blog owners prefer to save money when registering a custom domain, for their blogs. We've seen several free domain registration services, providing what is claimed to be a two level Top Level Domain "co.xx" (where "xx" == various country codes).

The latest in this ongoing story appears to be "net.tf" - and 13 other "top level domains".There is also an additional free service offering third-level .tf domains, under the name United Names Organisation. They occupy 14 second-level domains, including .eu.tf, .us.tf, .net.tf, and .edu.tf. They are run by the same company as smartdots.com, and are given away as URL redirections.
