Blogger SEO - Publish, And Publicise

One of the odder questions, by folks who just don't get it, comes from the folks who value SEO - but don't want to work for it.
Why is Blogger so weak on SEO?

What many folks just don't realise is that Blogger leaves the SEO to us - because Blogger supports other folks rights to publish their blogs anonymously, and without SEO. It's your choice - and it's your effort to make - either way.

The choices, provided to us by Blogger / Google, are quite basic.
Which ever decision you make, controlling the search engines is a key step, on the way to anonymity - or to fame and fortune. And use of Google Webmaster Tools is a key process, in controlling the search engines, and in evaluating success.

In either case, learn the issues involved, in fulfilling your personal goal. Don't expect Blogger to do it all for you.

Make your blog a combination of what you want - and what will please your readers.

Who wouldn't want their blog to be known in the internet? Whether you use SEO on it, people will somehow find their way to your blog.

Believe it or not, some people want to stay anonymous - or be visible only to a small group of friends.

Recently, we've seen a few blog owners who are curious about odd trends in their Stats displays. My numbers seem to go up steadily for a while, then drop. Then, they go up again, for a while, then drop again. Rises and falls in traffic are normal. You'll never have the same number of people, viewing your blog, constantly. During some days and some hours, our readers are going to be elsewhere, and not viewing our blogs.

Jump Break Is Visible Only In An Index Page

Some blog owners are unsure what a Jump Break looks like, when applied to their blogs. Occasionally, in Blogger Help Forum: Get Help with an Issue , we see the confusion. Where's the Jump Break? or I added a Jump Break to several posts, but it never shows up! When asked for a screen print of what they're seeing, they may provide a image of the post, in the Post Editor Preview window - or possibly, the published post, but in post page view.
