Problems With Blogger Commenting, With Formatted Text

Several bloggers have reported problems with Blogger blogs, and comments with formatted text, like bold type, or italic type, and / or embedded links. It's not easy to describe, maybe seeing the problem will be easier.

And voila, there we see the problem. Here's what I typed, and formatted.
Here is a line of italicised text, followed by 2 hard line breaks.

Here is normal text, and an embedded link, followed by 2 hard line breaks.

Here is a line of bold text, followed by 2 hard line breaks.

Here is more normal text.

You can see, below, what actually displays.

in the last days i re-edited all my blog posts, and try all browsers, first use chrome what have a dirty style if u use to much prewiev and not edit html so my post was dirty not only because chrome but also i have a bussines in this.so i try mozzila, opera and IE. Whit opera when i use preview and make a text bold when i go to edit html the text bold is gone. the text change to original no bold. IE i dont wana speack about him make me angry .. its the most stupid m.f. Mozzila its good , clean .. but like IE i see Mozzila take the liberty to change html codes from my posts. So after i reedit all my blog i see my html codes what was change by mozzila, the problem is after that some content refuze to work, but after i change to original code using chrome all was ok. more my sidebars in only some page whit post not all blog was down and after my post area( just like my posting area size and my sidebars size was to big for my blog body) and again after i change the re-edited code by mozzila and Ie whit the original all was ok. So now i must change all codes from all my blog to original. And i will use Chrome what its a good browser if u dont use preview for edit And its ok because i take the decizion to align all html code in the center. So maybe the browser make some problems whit text and stuff...

We really should discuss this in GBH: Something Is Broken, or in Nitecruzr Dot Net - Blogging? Online forums are much easier to use, then Blogger Blog Commenting, for interactive problem solving.

I can see what happened -- some dufus altered the end-of-line cleanup code and failed to grasp that "returns" are not "insignificant white space" and failed to exclude those from whatever procedure/ function handles the end-of-line cleanup to truncate excess white space.

What's REALLY annoying is that it DOES NOT do it in Preview mode, soit doesn't even remind you of the dumbass bug if you preview it -- this sub-genius designed function only executes on submission itself.

Hi, coming to this late, but I'm still having this problem on my blog. Did anyone ever come up with a solution?

What's The URL Of My Blog?

We see the plea for help, periodically I need the URL of my blog, so I can give it to my friends. Help! Who's buried in Grant's Tomb, after all? No Chuck, be polite. OK, OK. The title of this blog is "The Real Blogger Status", and the title of this post is "What's The URL Of My Blog?".

Add A Custom Redirect, If You Change A Post URL

When you rename a blog, the most that you can do, to keep the old URL useful, is to setup a stub post , with a clickable link to the new URL. Yo! The blog is now at xxxxxxx.blogspot.com!! Blogger forbids gateway blogs, and similar blog to blog redirections . When you rename a post, you can setup a custom redirect - and automatically redirect your readers to the post, under its new URL. You should take advantage of this option, if you change a post URL.

Adding A Link To Your Blog Post

Occasionally, you see a very odd, cryptic complaint I just added a link in my blog, but the link vanished! No, it wasn't your imagination.
