If you have a blog with multiple authors, you may have learned by now that you need to watch what's being posted. If there's lots of posting activity, though, you can't always check the blog - or even the newsfeeds from the blog - as often as you'd like, to see if something has been added. BlogSend saves you from that task, by simply notifying you (or your designates) when a post is added.
BlogSend is so simple to use. Under Settings - Email, simply enter a valid email address for "BlogSend Address". If you want a number of folks to receive notifications, setup BlogSend to use a Google Group, for multiplexing the notifications.
But BlogSend isn't bulletproof. It's effectiveness is limited - by your email system. Some email systems - and GMail is no exception - have been known to classify, falsely, a BlogSend notification as Spam.
If you're not getting BlogSend notifications, even when you can tell folks have been posting, check your Bulk / Spam folder in your email. This is actually something that you should do periodically, even if BlogSend isn't a critical item for you. With BlogSend, useful as it is, you still need to allow for this problem.
If there's absolutely no problem with your email and false Bulk detection, diagnose the problem. Setup a GMail account (or even a second GMail account), direct the BlogSend notices there, and forward them onward to your current address. You COULD even use a Google Group (if you aren't already), and multiplex the notices to several of your addresses.

BlogSend is for blog members to know when posts have been added, and requires registration and hard work by the blog admin.
