Thanks for the question - even if ther...Hi Chetan,

Thanks for the question - even if there may be no easy answer.

Your blog could be getting "comments" (Google+ stream posts) from people who you don't know and can't see, by people who don't visit the blog. This has always been a reality with Google+ - people will read and share a G+ post, without clicking on the link. I myself put G+ shares into my collections, to read later (and "later" comes seldom) - and that is a stream post, to my followers.

But even if people don't click on the blog link themselves, any of their followers may do so. And even if nobody clicks on the link, your blog is still getting an audience, ever increasing, in Google+. And the more people who see the stream posts (blog "comments"), the more chance that someone will read the blog.

And that's not bad, in the long run. The more people who read the shares about your blog, the more potential readers you get. And one day, one of the Google+ readers may decide to follow you, and comment on the blog - and then you will see the comment made by that person.

So yes, as your blog gets comments (that you don't see) your blog view counts will increase numerically (though not linearly). And your blog will be visible to more people.

And all of this should help us understand why Google+ share counts are so flaky - and why the counts were removed from the Blogger dashboard Posts pages.Nitecruzrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08069634565746003311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24069595.post-60755023912193133412018-09-08T00:31:55.575-07:002018-09-08T00:31:55.575-07:00I set my ad display settings many times but after ...I set my ad display settings many times but after one or two day when i will check it again the it shows check mark on the show ads but on the recommended dispaly ads below and sidebar it is unmarked.Salman patelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07101749434331735401noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24069595.post-63123869857634951522018-09-06T16:28:41.032-07:002018-09-06T16:28:41.032-07:00Some useful information there! The one email has since been eliminated because we changed carriers. I have attempted to log in using the 2 emails I have on file and I have updated/changed the passwords as well.

There is no way I can add these 2 emails to my "administrator" because I can't even get into my blog.

I know the blog is still there because I attempted to start a new blog under this name, and it is not available, which is a huge relief, but I am also very worried as I have 5 years worth of blogging done, which I want/need to make into books, but I can't get to my blog.

When I have attempted to log in and I get a message stating the log in information has been sent to the two emails on file, I am NOT receiving instructions. By the way, the one email no longer exists. I am even searching spam.

I am at a loss. Please help!

Thank you so much.

JodyJodyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06519477693788234180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24069595.post-51421912932751305362018-08-20T08:34:10.367-07:002018-08-20T08:34:10.367-07:00gmVery nice explanation, i could understand now, w...gmVery nice explanation, i could understand now, why the number of comments differ,
have one question, if my blog is getting comments in some other Google+ groups, is it also means that those people visited my blog and my views are increasing?
Chetan Chavanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15082238618872484516noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24069595.post-91300644341161030402018-08-18T11:49:29.702-07:002018-08-18T11:49:29.702-07:00Hi,

Hoping to get some insight on this. Thanks in advance.

JayJay Jay Luhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01637614528678369343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24069595.post-86531292110192804072018-03-30T11:50:49.146-07:002018-03-30T11:50:49.146-07:00Hey Chuck -
