Blogs with posts published to dynamic pages...Tito,

Blogs with posts published to dynamic pages will probably have the same advantages and disadvantages as posts published to the "main" page.

Label search pages ("dynamic" pages) are the same as archive (date retrieval), or main page - they are all called "index" pages.

If you use Jump Break consistently, the index pages won't have a lot of post content - and should not get indexed by the search engines.

http://blogging.nitecruzr.net/2011/11/jump-break-main-page-contents-and.htmlNitecruzrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08069634565746003311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24069595.post-79842964795412308192013-12-07T21:47:24.995-08:002013-12-07T21:47:24.995-08:00Most probably I'll need more than 20 pages.
...Most probably I'll need more than 20 pages.

All I can can think at this moment is using posts as page, please see: http://www.swamivivekanandaquotes.org/2013/12/project-page-featured-articles.html

Please tell me about disadvantages of using a post as a page. The two disadvantage I can see at this moment— a) the linkWithin gadget will wrongly include that project page and b)such page may get included in popular posts. Anything else? I have a questing regarding the limits of the "homepage". currently i can only get the 6 last post to show there even if i change the max-results to more via the post settings. I am using a jump-link to show a summary of the post on the homepage. The strange thing is that that on the archive pages "blog-pager" it can show atleast up to 50 posts. Do you know why this is happening?
All the best,

-JohnAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03214493102289887353noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24069595.post-48509230101410009622013-01-23T11:07:12.927-08:002013-01-23T11:07:12.927-08:00Hi

(totally new to Blogger and blogs in general).
What i'd like to do is to create another page like the home page (i think that's what you call dynamic page) so that i can start afresh with a new topic where i would like to add regular posts (plural), just like in the home page, not the static page where you can only have 1 post (even though you can add to it).
Is that possible? if so, how? in totally newby language please?
Thank you so muchThe Expathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09416463663260663577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24069595.post-6569799576407091072012-09-10T06:34:57.874-07:002012-09-10T06:34:57.874-07:00Graham,

I've identified specific features, though.

The suffix "_9" is duplication prevention.

http://blogging.nitecruzr.net/2009/08/blogging-directory-and-url-structure.htmlNitecruzrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08069634565746003311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24069595.post-82426555579737188882012-09-10T06:18:45.233-07:002012-09-10T06:18:45.233-07:00This is very helpful, thank you. I came across it ...This is very helpful, thank you. I came across it while looking for info on the naming conventions Blogger uses for the page URL, and I still cannot find anything on this. Maybe you or your readers can help. I know it is of the form "blogname/blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/article-name.html", where 2012/09 will change depending on the month published. By trial and error I have found the limit on "article-name" seems to be 35 charcaters. But there seem to be other limits too, which make it difficult for me to predict what the page name will be. For example it seems to leave out any definite or indefinite articles. But the most recent case which has really confused me is it interpreted my blog title "Learning from a Toddler" as "learning-from-toddler_9", whereas I had expected it to be "larning-from-toddler". Is there a complete list of rules to which I can refer?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13089385185861315026noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24069595.post-59145816038902088052012-07-18T20:58:34.809-07:002012-07-18T20:58:34.809-07:00Hey Thanks!Hey Thanks!Romehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05210970904694614521noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24069595.post-92225886743565854182012-07-05T16:16:45.557-07:002012-07-05T16:16:45.557-07:00This is what I need.
